in the name of the Board of our SPE Student Chapter I would like to invite you for a section meeting, which will take place on Monday the 24th Oct 2011 at 19:45 PM in room 327 A4.
At the meeting we’ll present how to properly register as a member of SPE, how to get JPT magazine, and you will also hear a presentation from Jakub Jagiello.
After the meeting a social event will be held in Gwarek Club. Each of you who will attend the chapter meeting will get a ticket for the evening party. There is a little surprise prepared so I highly encourage you to come.

The conference is set up to follow in the highly successful 1st International Geosciences Students Conference in Bucharest 2010. The conference gives students the opportunity to gain new skills and knowledge, network with industry professionals and peers, and to present research to an international audience. Paper presentations, short courses, field trips, networking events, SEG Challenge Bowl are some of the exciting events that you can participate in. Select participants can also receive travel grants to participate in the SEG/ExxonMobil student Education Program from 12-14 July 2011.
